1000 copies of The Holy Orokutu Eyoyo
- The Everlasting Words of
Life of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu
launched on Sunday August 19, 2012
Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, said to have taught his adherents consistently
for a period of over forty years has had his gospels on various subjects
launched in bound volume by members of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star(BCS).
The book entitled, “The Holy Orokutu Eyoyo – The Everlasting Words of Life of Leader Olumba
Olumba Obu” has two parts, with forty one sections, and193 gospels in the first
part and 21 testimonies of few persons in the second part titled, “our
witness”.
Speaking to members of the fold who gathered at the organization’s
Pentecostal centre in Uyo for the launching, the Secretary General and Head of
Administration of the fold, Her Holiness Queen Ibum Olumba Obu(Holy Queen
Mother), commended members of the
Committee who worked tirelessly for the past ten years to actualize that
dream.
She prayed God to bless them and members of their
family. She charged members of the fold
and other users of the book to read it word for word and not use it only as a
reference material. She admonished
members of the BCS fold to practice “the Father’s gospel” as contained in the
book “The Holy Orokutu Eyoyo – the
Everlasting Words of Life” to attract peace, joy, love and prosperity.
Reading from one of the gospels of Leader Obu with the title,
“Who is God?”, the Holy Queen Mother of the Brotherhood fold said that that
gospel was the foundation of the Brotherhood Kingdom as the speaker “is Christ,
God and the Holy Spirit who is love”.
According to her, to be a Christian and disciple of Christ one must have
love, and any government, city, institution without the virtue of love does not
belong to Christ.
Reading further she said “any name, designation and material
wealth is vanity without love, adding that “love is the gate that opens into heaven
and when a person has it he enters into heaven”. She said God was not in space, Germany, Italy
but “here with you”. The gospel made
references to St. John 15.12, St. John 14.21 and St. John 13.35 as first,
second lessons and golden text for the buttressing of the points.
Earlier in his introductory speech, Bishop Asuquo Okon
Ekanem, Chairman of the Publication Committee, recounted the challenges himself
and other members of the Committee passed through in the last ten years in
course of compiling the gospel of their Leader and prayed God to bless all
those who made contributions morally and financially to the success of the masterpiece.
The Bishop in-charge
of Evangelism/Publications of the BCS fold said the process of selection,
arrangement, organization, method of presentation and other logistics were
challenging but that he was guided by the leader who he said gave him ideas
sometimes in the dream how to solve those problems. He recalled one Mr Solomon who helped out in
typing the manuscripts when the logistics situation was critical. He said initially 1000 copies of the title
was printed and that more copies would be printed in due course according to
demand.
He was pleased that the assignment given him by “the Father”
was accomplished and commended other members of his committee including Pastor
Aniedi Obot, Apostle Mike Udo and others for their moral and financial
contributions to the success of their work.
He was thankful to other brothers and sisters in the BCS fold who made
financial contributions towards the production of the “The Holy Orokutu Eyoyo – Everlasting Words of
Life of Leader O.O. Obu”. He prayed that
the words in the book should be sunk in the hearts of members of the fold to be
good ambassadors of God’s kingdom on earth.
The compendium which is thicker than the normal size of
modern day Holy Bible has 1754 pages and printed in English. Also called, “The Doctrine of Leader Olumba
Olumba Obu”, launched at the Ravine Pentecostal Centre of the fold on Sunday
August 19, 2012, contains teachings of the Leader of the fold bordering on,

kingdom virtues such as Love, Faith, Mercy, Purity, Peace, Humility,

N10,000.00 a copy for those who could not get copies during the launching”,
said one of the members of the publication committee.

the Leader’s Representative of Akwa Ibom State, Apostle Etim Ante, who chaired
