Another Mass Defection Hits PDP this Week

Am moving to APGA with 1.2Million Akwa Ibomites – Godwill Richman

As the ruling People’s Democratic Party’s claims and counter claims by its gladiators over the last House of Assembly Primaries keep raging on, another mass defection is likely to hit the PDP this week as one of those seeking to take up the mantle of the state leadership, Obong Godwill Okon Richman has concluded plans with the National leadership of APGA to join the said Party with about 1.2million Akwa Ibomites.
Obong Godwill Okon Richman, 2015 guber aspirant

Speaking to our reporter from his Abuja residence on phone, Mr Richman said, “the big fish is moving to APGA and all have to move with him”.  He boasted that about 1.2million Akwa Ibom voters would join him in APGA.
He stated that he has concluded arrangements to defect to APGA to fulfill his governorship ambition as he has no confidence in the leadership of the PDP in the state as regards respect for internal democracy.

He said the last Ward Congresses of the PDP purportedly held in the state were fraught with massive irregularities as the said congresses were seriously doctored and wondered how such an exercise could embolden the Party’s stakeholders and its founding fathers in the state to keep quiet over what was wrong.
Mr Richman said APGA will take over the state in 2015 elections and perfect the will of God for the benefit of the teaming suffering Akwa Ibom people.  He appealed to Akwa Ibom voters to cast their votes, when the time comes, to a leader who will stand for them at all times.
When asked whether he has a governorship contender in APGA he said that would be known when he shall have been fully received by the Party.  Mr Richman spoke confidently that he was not miffed by the noise so far made in the state and the showmanship going on about 2015, saying that time will tell.

Our investigations reveal that some APC members who are coordinators for Mr Richman in many local government areas of the state would be joining him to move to APGA this weekend.
