BCSCelebrates Leader OBU’s Birthday

Leader Olumba O. Obu, the Sole Spiritual Head of BCS
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, one of the foremost religious bodies that believe in the birth of  Christ, moved a step further on Sunday the 30th of December, 2012 by celebrating the birth of the Sole Spiritual Head of the Organization, described by one of the members as “the apotheosis Leader O. O. Obu”, in grand style.

In the celebration of joy that featured the rendition of known Brotherhood carols and choruses, exchange of gift items and pleasantries, the elated Akwa Ibom State Leader’s Representative of the fold, Apostle Etim Ante, surrounded by known personalities of the fold in Akwa Ibom like Apostle Sam Efiok, Pastor Augustine Udosen, Pastor Engr. Aniedi Obot, Apostle Mike O. Udo, Pastor Ubong Inyang and others reminisced about the existence of the past avatar like Melchisedec whose birth was not recognized whilst his evangelical crusade cut across Hebron to Damascus and other places.

He thanked God for making it realistic in his life time to recognize and commemorate the birthday of the person whom he called “the present avatar, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu”, whose birth on earth he said confirms what was revealed to Prophet Isaiah about the coming of the Holy one from the lineage of the Gentiles.

Apostle Etim Ante agreed, just like Reverend Conrad of the Banham Memorial Methodist Church in Port Harcourt, that should Nigerians realize the personage of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the expression of their joy should have forced them to leap with their heads upside down.
The appreciation service which was conducted by Christ Witness Alex Calfred Ukpe was attended by the Secretary General/Head of Administration of the fold, Her Holiness, Ibum Olumba Obu, and His Lordship, Bishop A. O. E. Ekanem of the evangelical department of the organization; with a large number of worshippers from all the local government areas of the state. The new look Pentecostal centre of the Ravine area was a beehive of both old and new members of the BCS fold.
